Chief Minister Inaugurates Urban Service Camps
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s spirit of public service, Rajasthan Government launches camps to fast-track welfare and grievance redressal
Jaipur, Sept 2025 : On the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated the Urban Service Camps from Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership, tireless hard work, and spirit of selfless service have brought prosperity and happiness to the lives of crores of people across the country. Inspired by his example, the State Government has launched the Urban Service Camps as part of the Seva Pakhwada (Fortnight of Service) to ensure relief reaches the last person in society and brings a meaningful change in their standard of living.
PM’s Historic Contributions
Extending heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Prime Minister on behalf of the state’s 8 crore citizens, Shri Sharma said that in the past 11 years, India has witnessed historic progress under his leadership. India has now become the world’s fourth-largest economy and is soon set to become the third-largest. He recalled that Shri Modi ended the 500-year-long wait of Indians by consecrating the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and also abrogated Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir. Referring to Operation Sindoor, the Chief Minister said that those who tried to snatch away the dignity of India’s women were given a befitting reply under Modi’s leadership.
One-Stop Solution for Citizens
Shri Sharma emphasized that guided by the Prime Minister’s mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”, the state government has initiated these Urban Service Camps to improve people’s lives. The camps will focus on civic services and amenities such as better sanitation, removal of black spots, repair of roads, drains, and sewer lines, restoration of non-functional streetlights, and beautification of parks and squares.
These camps will also act as one-stop service centers, providing immediate facilities for birth, death, and marriage registrations, fire NOC, trade licenses, and sewer connections. Leasehold-to-freehold conversions, issuance of property pattas, and tasks like name transfer will also be expedited. Shri Sharma stressed that these initiatives reflect the Prime Minister’s commitment to the upliftment of the poor.
Antyodaya in Action
Highlighting the vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Antyodaya philosophy, the Chief Minister said that the state recently organized the Antyodaya Sanbal Pakhwada, benefiting lakhs of underprivileged people. He added that the state is actively working on the “Garibi Mitao Abhiyan” and, under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Poverty-Free Village Scheme, aims to uplift BPL families in 10,000 villages above the poverty line.
The Chief Minister further said that welfare initiatives like cooking gas cylinders at ₹450, Maa Voucher Yojana, Lado Protsahan Yojana, Shri Annapurna Rasoi, and pensions for the elderly, widows, single women, differently-abled persons, and small and marginal farmers are directly benefiting the needy.
During the program, Shri Sharma visited various departmental stalls set up at the camp, issued necessary directions, released the Urban Camp 2025 guidelines, and distributed cheques and pattas to beneficiaries, including those of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
