Rural Development Minister Reviews Progress of Service Camps to Ensure Public Benefits
Jaipur, Sept 2025: Under the chairmanship of State Minister and District In-Charge Minister Shri Otaram Devasi, a review meeting was held on Saturday at the Mini Secretariat Auditorium, Baran District Collectorate, to assess the progress of rural and urban service camps organized under the Seva Parv fortnight. During the meeting, Kishanganj MLA Dr. Lalit Meena, Ataru-Baran MLA Radheshyam Bairwa, and District Collector Shri Rohitashv Singh Tomar apprised the Minister of developments achieved through the service camps.
Discussions focused on the implementation of budget announcements for 2024-25 and 2025-26. Shri Devasi emphasized that common citizens must receive the benefits of the state government’s flagship and welfare schemes. The Chief Minister has already released budgets to support these initiatives. Measures were discussed to ensure quick compensation for crop damage post-Girdawari and resolve technical issues related to crop insurance in the Mangrol area.
Officials also briefed the Minister on damaged school buildings, roads, culverts due to heavy rainfall, and the availability of fertilizers. Proposals worth ₹210 crore for various repair works have been sent to the state government. Additionally, MLA Radheshyam Bairwa requested the early completion of an under-construction railway bridge, while MLA Lalit Meena raised concerns regarding local electricity issues.
Earlier, Shri Devasi inspected the Rural Service Camp at Batavada, addressing the public and stating that the government is resolutely working to resolve long-pending issues at the grassroots level. He directed all officers and staff to act with sensitivity and ensure that every citizen receives the benefits of government schemes.
