Urban Service Camps Under CM Bhajanlal Sharma Transform Public Welfare Across Rajasthan
Jaipur, Sept 2025: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the ongoing urban service camps—Urban Service Camp 2025—are becoming synonymous with efficient public service. Inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” these camps, which began on September 17, have resolved thousands of citizen cases, providing swift relief.
Operating statewide until October 17, the camps function as one-stop solutions, ensuring citizens do not have to wait for authorized services. Under the CM’s supervision, significant achievements include the distribution of 3,656 land pattas across various categories. This includes 290 pattas under Section 69-A, revalidation of 237 unregistered pattas, approval of 2,121 pattas on agricultural land, issuance of 552 pattas under municipal/trust/authority schemes, reissuance of 63 previously surrendered pattas, conversion of 203 leasehold cases to freehold, and 42 pattas approved under the state grant. Additionally, 148 settlements received legal recognition under the slum regularization program.
The campaign also focuses on urban infrastructure and citizen services. So far, 16,525.5 km of roads in residential areas and 12,023.15 km in commercial zones have been cleaned. Sewer connections for 2,287 cases were approved, while 17,593 birth, death, and marriage registrations were processed.
Beneficiaries of welfare schemes have also been supported: 358 cases under the Prime Minister’s Swarnidhi Yojana and 744 under the Chief Minister’s Swarnidhi scheme were approved. Nala and drainage repairs were completed over 19,797.85 meters, and 11,661 plants were planted to promote cleaner and greener urban living.
Taking inspiration from the Prime Minister, CM Sharma has also initiated socially-driven campaigns such as Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan, Vande Ganga Water Conservation Campaign, Karmabhoomi Se Matrubhoomi, and the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal fortnight. These innovations have strengthened service delivery and ensured the expansion of citizen-centric facilities from villages to towns, translating welfare policies into tangible benefits for the people.
