Not Lado Lakshmi, this is ‘Jumla Lakshmi Yojana’: Anurag Dhanda
Lado Lakshmi Yojana dashes women’s hopes, exposes the face of the government: Anurag Dhanda
Out of 1.4 crore, 90% women cheated, Lado Lakshmi Yojana only an election drama: Anurag Dhanda
Chandigarh, Sept 2025 : Senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party and National Media In-charge Anurag Dhanda on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the CM over the BJP government’s launch of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana app, calling it the “biggest political deception” with women. He said that CM Nayab Singh inaugurated this scheme and mobile app in Panchkula, but this launch is in reality the beginning of electoral fraud.
Dhanda said that during the 2024 Assembly elections, BJP had promised from big platforms that every woman of Haryana would be given ₹2100 per month. But now when registration for the scheme is starting, BJP has gone back on its own promises and has trapped it in conditions and restrictions. About 1.4 crore women live in Haryana, but the benefit of this scheme will hardly reach only 10–12 percent women. The hands of the remaining crores of women will remain empty.
He said that under the name of “Lado Lakshmi”, the BJP government has played with the hopes of women. Poor and middle-class families have been trapped in income limits, young girls and students have been excluded in the name of age, and elderly and widowed women have been sidelined under the excuse of clash with other schemes. Instead of women’s empowerment, this scheme is a political attempt to lock them in a “cage of conditions.”
Dhanda said this is not a welfare scheme, but rather a tool to mislead women before elections. BJP knows that people no longer trust its false claims, so it wants to keep the schemes half-baked and gain benefit through propaganda. He said that BJP has broken the promise made to women and is now only trying to cover up its failures through mobile app launches and photo sessions.
The Aam Aadmi Party clearly says that the BJP government has betrayed the rights and hopes of women. The women of Haryana trusted BJP, but in return they are only getting deception, lies, and fraud. The public now understands all this and in the coming time will give BJP a strong reply.
