Chief Minister Tours Hyderabad Hi-Tech City; Jaipur Emerging as IT & ITES Rising Hub

Jaipur, Sept 2025: Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that Jaipur has become a ‘Rising Hub’ for IT and ITES. Leading domestic and international companies are operating in IT Park Jaipur, Udaipur, and Mahindra World City. Under RIPS-2024, IT and ITES projects are offered three Asset-Creation Incentive options: 75% SGST reimbursement for 7 years, 20% capital subsidy, or a 1.4% turnover-linked incentive. Once chosen, the selected benefit is applicable for 10 years.

On Friday, Shri Sharma toured Hyderabad Hi-Tech City to observe the innovation-focused capabilities of T-Hub. He highlighted that over 429 industrial areas have been developed in Rajasthan with all essential infrastructure for industries. Under RECO’s new Direct Land Allotment Policy as part of the Rising Rajasthan initiative, MOU holders can acquire industrial plots at reserved rates. The fifth phase of direct land allotment is in progress, offering 7,000 plots across 79 industrial areas, with 1,232 entrepreneurs already allotted land.

Shri Sharma stated that Rajasthan leads the country with 33 GW of installed solar energy capacity, alongside renewable energy projects worth nearly ₹27 lakh crore in various stages. The state’s renewable energy policy encourages investment in clean energy, battery storage, and green technology.

He emphasized that Rajasthan is not only investment-friendly but also a leader in prosperity and development across IT, innovation, and industry. All entrepreneurs, investors, and startups are invited to contribute toward building a modern, prosperous, globally competitive Rajasthan.

During the visit, the Chief Minister met senior IT company officials to invite investments and discuss potential collaboration in technology, innovation, and healthcare sectors. NRI Rajasthanis and investors were urged to actively participate in the state’s development, technological innovation, and social progress.

Industry & Commerce Minister Shri K.K. Bishnoi and senior officials from various departments were present.
