World Bank representatives call on Principal Secretary of Urban Development

Representatives of the World Bank met Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, at Mantralaya today. Program Leader Infrastructure Shri Arnav Bandopadhyay, Task Team Leader Shri Raghu Kesavan and Urban Expert Shri Riddhiman Saha in the World Bank Mission were included in the World Bank team.

Principal Secretary Shri Mandloi informed the World Bank representatives that he will review the pending work of projects in the coming week. It may be noted that the work of the Sevdha water supply project of Datia district and Maheshwar, Shahdol, Bhairunda, and Chhindwara is in progress with the help of the World Bank. The Principal Secretary also discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation in urban areas with the World Bank representatives.

Additional Managing Director Shri Kirori Lal Meena and Chief Engineer Shri Anand Singh were also present at the meeting. The meeting was coordinated by Technical Officer Shri Kamlesh Bhatnagar.
