Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of development works worth ₹362 crore – Transferred ₹209 crore to 1.87 lakh construction workers of the state

Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that our government is working for the upliftment of villages and the poor, and for the respect of farmers and women. In this direction, Seva Pakwada (Service Fortnight) is a strong medium to ensure access of good governance, facilities, and development to every citizen, along with achieving the goal of public service.

Shri Sharma was addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of various development works under Seva Pakwada at Jaitaran in Beawar on Tuesday. He said that on the occasion of the birthday of the country’s successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Seva Pakwada being conducted since 17 September is a medium to give concrete shape to the basic mantra of the Prime Minister – Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas. He said that to deliver the benefits of schemes to the last person standing in society, rural and urban service camps are being organized across the state under this Seva Pakwada.

The Chief Minister said that in rural service camps, works like registry, lease deeds, crop survey, correction of land records, partition, mutation, certificates, and various other works are being done, along with linking eligible people to welfare schemes. Similarly, in urban service camps, works like repair of roads, drains, and sewer lines, beautification of public places, as well as birth-death or marriage registration, lease deeds, NOC, trade license, mutation, building approval, tax deposit, sewer connection, EWS certificate etc. are being carried out.

4,121 rural service camps —
Shri Sharma, mentioning the progress of service camps, said that so far 4,121 rural service camps have been organized in this fortnight, in which about 53,000 mutations and about 54,000 rectifications have been done. Along with distribution of more than 82,000 policies of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, more than 78,000 pending cases on NFSA portal have been disposed. Similarly, more than 64,000 leases have been distributed under Swamitva Yojana and more than 85,000 livestock insurances under Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana. In the same way, in urban service camps more than 8,000 leases were distributed and more than 42,000 certificates issued.

Our government has done unprecedented work in the field of energy —
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, our government is doing historic work for the development of the state. He said that on 25 September the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of the Nuclear Power Plant in Banswara. This plant will prove to be a milestone in meeting the energy needs of Rajasthan as well as the country. He said our government has done unprecedented work in the field of energy. Farmers in 22 districts of the state have started receiving electricity during the day. Similarly, Ramjal Setu Link Project and Yamuna Water Agreement are being implemented. Due to the GST reforms carried out on the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, direct benefits are being received by poor, farmers, middle class, traders, and all sections of society. Most of the daily-use items have now become cheaper, giving big relief to the common people.

91 thousand youth given government jobs —
Shri Sharma said that the work our government has accomplished in these one and a half years could not be done by the previous government in full five years. In our government, youths of the state are getting abundant opportunities for government jobs. So far, we have given about 91,000 appointments, and the process of filling about 1.54 lakh posts is in different stages. He said that out of the investment proposals worth ₹35 lakh crore received at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, projects worth ₹3 lakh crore were started in March, and now projects worth ₹4 lakh crore are ready to be implemented. With the implementation of these investment proposals, better employment opportunities will be available to youth even in the private sector.

Prime Minister initiated innovative efforts of social concern —
Shri Sharma said that under the leadership of successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, many works of social concern are happening in the country. The Prime Minister made Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a campaign of the masses. Along with this, under Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Abhiyan, improvement in girl child sex ratio and promotion of girls’ education has been done. He said that Shri Modi launched One Tree in Mother’s Name campaign across the country, which brought awareness among common people towards environmental protection. Taking inspiration from this campaign, our government has set a target to plant 50 crore saplings in five years, and about 19 crore saplings have already been planted in two years.

Shri Sharma said that this glorious land of Jaitaran is the land of faith and immense valor. This land reminds of Veer Jaita and Kumpa, as well as Bhakt Shiromani Meera Bai, saints of Ramsnehi sect Shri Dariyaw Ji Maharaj, Jain saint Shraman Vibhuti Mishrimal Ji Maharaj, and saint Rupmuni Rajat Ji. He said that with the resolve of service, development works worth ₹362 crore were inaugurated and foundation stones laid from Jaitaran.

Inaugurations —

  • 10 Hostels, cost ₹28 crore.
  • 05 Chief Minister Rehabilitation Homes.
  • Government Devnarayan Residential School, Ras, Jaitaran, cost ₹28.62 crore.
  • Inauguration of 16 roads, cost ₹20.05 crore.
  • Inauguration of 71 water structures, cost ₹4 crore.

Foundation stones laid —

  • 30 Hostels, cost ₹84 crore.
  • 21 new construction, renovation, asphalting of roads, cost ₹117 crore.
  • 07 Sub Health Centers, cost ₹49.40 crore.
  • 33/11 KV Substation Anandpur Kalu, cost ₹1.82 crore.

Along with this, the Chief Minister transferred ₹209 crore to 1.87 lakh construction workers and their dependents through DBT. In the program, the Chief Minister honored contributors of complete de-addiction of revenue village Kishannagar of Beawar district. Earlier, he visited stalls of various departments and distributed scooters and equipment to differently-abled persons and the needy.

When Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma was addressing the program from the stage, his eyes fell on a daughter standing in the crowd. From the stage, he called that daughter. After his address, she came to the stage and presented a picture to the Chief Minister.

On this occasion, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Avinash Gehlot, Animal Husbandry & Dairy and Devasthan Minister Shri Joraram Kumawat, MP Shri P.P. Chaudhary, Shri Rajendra Gehlot, MLA Shri Kesaram Chaudhary, Smt. Shobha Chauhan, Shri Shankar Singh Rawat, Shri Hari Singh Rawat, Shri Virendra Singh, Shri Shri 1008 Shri Ramprasad Ji Maharaj, Shri Narayan Das Ji Maharaj, Shri Magniram Ji Maharaj, Shri Bhaktaram Ji Maharaj, along with other public representatives and a large number of common people were present.
