Registration on Agristack Portal Made Mandatory for Paddy Procurement

A Major Step Towards Digital Revolution in Agriculture, Lakhs of Farmers in Chhattisgarh Joining the Portal

Raipur, Oct 2025 : The Chhattisgarh government is continuously working towards bringing positive transformation in the lives of farmers through the use of technology. In this direction, the Agristack Portal is being rapidly implemented across the state. This portal serves as a digital public infrastructure for farmers, bringing together all key agricultural information on a single platform.

What is the Agristack Portal?

Agristack is a secure digital system that integrates comprehensive data related to farmers, including their identity, land records, crop details, and agricultural activities. The data is shared only with the farmer’s consent, ensuring complete privacy and security of personal information.

Mandatory Registration for Paddy Procurement

This year, farmers selling paddy through cooperative societies in the state are required to register on the Agristack portal. The move aims to enhance transparency and ensure that benefits of various schemes and payments reach farmers directly into their bank accounts.

Direct Benefits to Farmers

Through the Agristack portal, farmers now receive direct information about government schemes, subsidies, and financial assistance. This initiative will not only eliminate the role of intermediaries but also make the distribution process faster and more transparent.

Simple and Free Registration Process

The registration process for farmers is extremely simple and completely free. Farmers can visit their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or cooperative society with their Aadhaar card and loan passbook to complete the registration. The process takes only a few minutes, after which farmers are provided with a unique digital identity.

Over 24 Lakh Farmers Already Registered

So far, more than 24 lakh farmers across the state have joined the Agristack portal and are benefiting from digital agricultural services. The government aims to ensure that all eligible farmers are registered on the platform before the upcoming Rabi season.

Digital Farming, Prosperous Farmers

The Agristack portal is poised to become the backbone of future agricultural schemes in Chhattisgarh. It will not only help increase farmers’ income but also make agriculture more scientific, data-driven, and systematic.
