Digital Revolution in Education: 1,100 Schools to Receive Smart TVs

Raipur, Oct 2025: Digital Revolution in Education – Smart TVs to Benefit 1,100 Schools

To promote education, especially in primary and upper-primary government schools, and to make learning more engaging, nearly 1,100 schools in the district will be provided with smart TVs through public collaboration. Under this digital education initiative, 25 schools in Bilha Development Block, Bilaspur district received smart TVs, enabling children to learn in an entertaining and interactive way.

In Bilha Development Block, a total of 50 smart TVs are being provided by Shri Naresh Agrawal, Manager, Mangal Power & Steel, Bilha, with the first phase distributing 25 TVs today to selected schools. The remaining schools will soon receive smart TVs as well. These devices aim to make learning more engaging for children through digital and e-class platforms, increasing their interest in school and studies.

Additionally, the Sampark Foundation, New Delhi, is providing free Sampark TV devices to nearly 1,100 schools, allowing children to learn in an enjoyable manner. The event was attended by the CEO of Bilaspur District Panchayat, Commissioner of Bilaspur Municipal Corporation, Manager of Mangal Power & Steel, and DMC Samagra Shiksha, Bilaspur, along with other officials.

It is noteworthy that on October 7, in the first phase, the Bilaspur Municipal Corporation distributed smart TVs to 31 government primary schools in urban areas. Under the initiative led by Collector Shri Sanjay Agrawal, schools continue to receive smart TVs through public collaboration. These digital tools are designed to make learning more engaging, thereby increasing children’s interest in attending school and their studies.
