Chhattisgarh Tourism Shines at MP Travel Mart 2025

Raipur, Oct 2025: Chhattisgarh Tourism made a strong impression at the MP Travel Mart-2025, held from 11 to 13 October 2025 at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board’s grand and visually appealing stall became a major attraction for delegates from across India and abroad.

The event featured a roundtable session attended by tourism officials from states including Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Nagaland, and Manipur. Discussions focused on state-level partnerships and investment opportunities in the tourism sector.

Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Shri Neelu Sharma and Managing Director Shri Vivek Acharya participated in the program. The stall showcased the state’s natural, religious, cultural, and tribal destinations. Concepts such as wildlife tourism, eco-tourism, and film tourism were also highlighted.

Senior officials and representatives of the board interacted with travel agents, investors, and tourism experts from various states and countries, providing detailed information about Chhattisgarh’s scenic tourism destinations and the facilities offered by the government for visitors. They also invited travel agents and investors to explore joint investment and collaboration opportunities in the state.

Shri Neelu Sharma, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, said, “Chhattisgarh, located in the heart of India, is a land where nature, culture, and spirituality converge uniquely. Its greenery, cascading waterfalls, and tribal culture offer visitors an unparalleled experience. Our aim is to make tourism not only about sightseeing but also a medium for local development, employment generation, and cultural exchange.”

The event was graced by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and MP Minister for Tourism, Culture & Religious Trusts Shri Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi. Among the notable participants were film and television producer Ekta Kapoor, actors Gajraj Rao and Raghubir Yadav, former FICCI president Dr. Jyotsna Suri, and IAATO President Shri Ravi Gosain. Representatives from 27 countries and over 80 international tour operators attended.

During the MP Travel Mart 2025, more than 3,000 business-to-business meetings were held, opening new avenues for partnerships for Chhattisgarh at national and international levels.
