State Government Committed to Providing Top-Notch Healthcare Services : CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has affirmed the state government’s commitment to expanding healthcare services. Today, a 100-bed Maatru-Shishu Chikitsalaya worth Rs 20 crore was dedicated in Shajapur. This hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, will offer advanced medical services for both mothers and children.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the crowd after inaugurating the Maatru-Shishu Chikitsalaya in Shajapur, promising comprehensive development for the district. He highlighted the arrival of Narmada water in Shajapur, and said that the district will soon benefit from the Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal Link Project, which will benefit 13 districts. This project will ensure 24-hour availability of water and electricity for farmers, enhancing crop productivity in the area. Additionally, the Chief Minister announced that Maksi sub-tehsil of Shajapur will be granted tehsil status. Dr. Yadav also planted a sapling on the hospital premises.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that the government is dedicated to improving the lives of farmers. He acknowledged the hard work of farmers in producing crops and highlighted that Shajapur is a key market for potatoes and onions, attracting buyers from across the country. The Chief Minister noted that since the government’s formation, continuous efforts have been made to benefit farmers, resulting in increased productivity. He also mentioned the government’s focus on creating more employment opportunities, which requires industrial development. To boost the industrial growth rate, efforts are being made to enhance productivity. Additionally, Dr. Yadav announced plans to establish an agriculture-based food industry in Shajapur.

Agricultural productivity in the state has improved significantly, and now the focus must shift to increasing industrial productivity to create more employment opportunities. At the recent Invest Summit in Ujjain, discussions centered on industrial development across the state and the region. Conversations were also held with industrialists from Tamil Nadu, urging them to establish industries in the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to set up an agriculture-based food industry in Shajapur. This will provide farmers with fair prices for their crops and the products here will also go to the country and abroad, which will lead to progress of farmers in the area.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed pride in our culture, calling it the best in the world. He emphasized the importance of sharing our cultural values globally and celebrating festivals as a community to spread joy. Dr. Yadav said that the state government would gift an additional Rs 250 to the existing Rs 1250 monthly allowance for 1 crore 39 lakh sisters in the state on August 10, in celebration of Raksha Bandhan. The festival will also be marked by events at more than 25,000 locations across the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the numerous initiatives being led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to empower women, emphasizing efforts to encourage their participation in all sectors. He also acknowledged the Central Government’s measures for the development of Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Dr.Yadav highighted the Guru-Shishya tradition that prevails in India where the Guru guides the Shishya. He also praised our culture’s global reputation as a world leader. He noted that our history is one of sharing goodness rather than infringing upon other nations. He recalled the ancient universities of Takshashila and Nalanda, renowned for their contributions to humanity thousands of years ago, and mentioned that Lord Krishna received his education in Ujjain.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that every MLA should make his assembly constituency a model of development. He said that the budget is Rs 3.5 lakh crore, it has to be increased to Rs 7 lakh crore in 5 years. Madhya Pradesh will be made the leader in the country by continuously moving forward in terms of development.

Huge rakhi as gift

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was presented a huge Rakhi of about 20 feet prepared by Ladli Behnas at the inauguration ceremony of the Maatru-Shishu Chikitsalaya in Shajapur. A large number of Behnas also tied Rakhis. The Chief Minister presented certificates to the beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana. During the program, farmers presented Kachhi Ghani oil, cow ghee, Nimadi chilli powder, famous red onion of Shajapur and Baramasi white jamun plant to the Chief Minister.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment Shri Gautam Tetwal and MP Shri Mahendra Singh Solanki addressed the program. A large number of farmers, Ladli Behnas, and citizens including local MLAs, public representatives, and officials were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav pays tribute

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav condoled the untimely death of Late Shri Deepak Bhimawad, younger brother of MLA Shri Arun Bhimavad at Shajapur and paid tributes. He reached the residence of Corporator Shri Prem Yadav and former Municipal Vice President Smt. Rekha Meena and paid tributes to Late Smt. Gita Bai Yadav, Badi Mataji of Shri Prem Yadav and Late Shri Amritlal Meena, husband of Smt. Rekha Meena.
