In just 20 days, Yogi government allocates approximately Rs 80 crore to support farmers

Lucknow : On the initiative of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, public representatives have come forward to support flood-affected farmers. In just 20 days, approximately Rs 80 crore has been distributed to 1,57,471 farmers across the state as agricultural investment grants, compensating for damage to 43,558.04 hectares of crops caused by floods.

The Chief Minister’s proactive efforts ensure continuous provision of assistance to these farmers by the government.

According to the Office of the Relief Commissioner, on August 4, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed agricultural investment grants to 5,918 beneficiaries in Kushinagar. Additionally, Khadda MLA Vivekanand Pandey also distributed money in the form of grants for agricultural investment.

In Sadar Tehsil of Balrampur, Assembly member Palturam distributed relief material to 40 victims. In Uttaraula, MLA Rampratap Verma provided relief material to 15 victims, while in Tulsipur Assembly, MLA Kailashnath Shukla assisted 30 individuals with relief supplies.

On August 4, Dumariyaganj MP Jagdambika Pal distributed relief funds to 125 flood victims in the Collectorate auditorium in the form of agricultural investment as well as grants for homes and dead-animals.

In Lakhimpur Kheri, Legislative Council member Anoop Gupta and MLAs Yogesh Verma, Manju Tyagi, Aman Giri, and Vinod Shankar Awasthi provided agricultural investment grants to 200 victims. Additionally, on August 3, MLA Arvind Singh gave agricultural investment grants to 31 individuals in the Dadraul assembly of Shahjahanpur.

On July 26, Shravasti MLA Rampheran offered government assistance to victims of house damage, while District Panchayat President Daddan Mishra distributed aid to 132 individuals. On July 24 and 25, MLA Vivek Verma and Barkheda MLA Swami Prakatanand also provided support to victims in Bisalpur, Pilibhit.
