The delegation includes Dr. Devvrat Tyagi and Ms. Vidisha Das. The team is evaluating how various departments have been using AI effectively in their day-to-day functioning.

The meeting was attended by District Collector Trupti Dhodmise, Chief Executive Officer Ravindra Khebudkar, Superintendent of Police Dr. Mohan Dahikar, Deputy Conservator of Forests Milish Sharma, Additional District Collector Shubhangi Sathe, and heads of various departments.

At the conclusion, Dr. Tyagi praised Sindhudurg’s achievements, saying, “The Prime Minister’s Office plans to develop ten districts in India through AI models. This technology-driven initiative will serve as an inspiration for administrations across the country.

Over the next two days, on October 30 and 31, the NITI Aayog team will conduct on-site assessments in various government departments, including District Administration, Health, Forest, Women and Child Development, and Transport. The first phase of AI integration is already underway in these departments.
