Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that we are not only celebrating the state’s achievements on Foundation Day, but also marking the beginning of the next 25 years of progress. The past two years have laid the foundation for a developed and self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. The state has made remarkable achievements in industrial growth, job creation, investment promotion, and infrastructure building. This momentum will establish Madhya Pradesh as one of the leading industrial centers of India.

On this historic occasion, we dedicate the Viksit Madhya Pradesh @2047 Vision Document to the nation. Developed through public participation, this document is the foundation for building a New Madhya Pradesh – a roadmap for a strong, self-reliant, and developed state over the next two decades. It will play a leading role in realizing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat @2047.

Dr. Yadav was addressing the “Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh” Vision Document launching ceremony at Ravindra Bhavan on the occasion of the State’s 70th Foundation Day today.

He also announced the development of Omkareshwar Sanctuary, covering parts of Khandwa and Dewas districts, and launched the “Wash on Wheels” mobile app developed by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department. Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain presented the objectives and salient points of the document. A short film on the Vision Document was screened.

Ujjain to get the state’s fourth airport within two years

Agreements were signed for the Ujjain Airport Development Project in the presence of CM Dr. Yadav and Union Minister Shri N. Ram Mohan Naidu. After Rewa, Satna, and Datia, Ujjain will be the fourth new airport in last two years. The new airport will benefit pilgrims visiting Ujjain. The Chief Minister said that with this, Madhya Pradesh will now have a total of nine airports.

Contracts for Rewa–New Delhi (Alliance Air) and Rewa–Indore (IndiGo Airlines) flights were handed over. Agreements were also signed for the PM Shri Helicopter Tourism Service across three sectors of the state.

‘MP e-Seva’ Portal: Easy Access to Govt Services

The Chief Minister launched the MP e-Seva Portal, providing all government services to citizens on one platform in a simple and transparent manner, and the Invest MP 3.0 Portal, which simplifies digital investment and industrial services. He also inaugurated the “Wash on Wheels” mobile app, linking sanitation services with new technology. Short films on the MP e-Seva Portal, Invest MP 3.0, and Wash on Wheels were screened during the event.

Two Lakh Govt Jobs in Next Three Years

Dr. Yadav said that 2025 is being celebrated as the Year of Investment and Employment. Due to strategic efforts, investment proposals worth over ₹30 lakh crore have been received, of which ₹8.44 lakh crore have been approved. These are expected to generate over 6 lakh jobs. In the past two years, 8.25 lakh people have gained employment, and investments worth over ₹23,853 crore have been made.

Currently, 60,000 government posts have been filled. The Pradhanmantri MITRA Park and the upcoming Rail Coach Factory in Umariya village, Raisen district, will generate large-scale employment. The state government is also promoting tourism and medical education projects under the PPP model. An air ambulance service has been introduced to provide timely treatment to people in remote areas. Two lakh government jobs will be provided within the next three years.

Citizens Will Open New Doors of Prosperity

Agriculture is the backbone of the state’s economy. The River Linking Project will expand irrigated areas and write a golden chapter in agricultural growth and farmer welfare. Solar irrigation pumps are being provided to make farmers self-reliant in electricity production, increasing their income. Entrepreneurship is being continuously encouraged.

The state’s wildlife is flourishing. With two new tiger reserves and a cheetah sanctuary launched last year, and efforts underway to increase populations of wild buffalo and rhinos, boosting eco-tourism and creating employment in forest areas.

Expansion of new railway lines is going on – the Indore–Manmad train will boost trade in Malwa and Nimar. The government is committed to all-round development through public participation. Citizens’ hard work and dedication will open new paths of prosperity and success, contributing significantly to the goal of a Developed and Self-Reliant India.

CM Dr. Yadav is a Symbol of Public Service – Union Minister Shri Naidu

Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu said that CM Dr. Yadav is a symbol of public service. The state government is integrating innovations from across India into its development path. The newly presented Vision Document reflects this spirit. From “Om” to “AI,” Madhya Pradesh is making its mark – not only as a cultural hub but also as a center of development and prosperity. Following the progressive policies of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh is advancing rapidly in every sector.

Madhya Pradesh – Heart of India in Geography, Biodiversity, and Natural Resources

Dr. Suman K. Bery, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, said that Madhya Pradesh is the heart of India not just geographically but also in terms of biodiversity and natural resources. The Vision Document developed with public participation aligns with the Prime Minister’s goals for Developed India 2047. Globally, development is measured by improved quality of life, and Madhya Pradesh’s initiatives in agriculture, wildlife, industry, and investment are guiding citizens toward progress. He suggested that efforts be made to enhance women’s participation in employment.

Three Pillars of Viksit Madhya Pradesh: Happiness, Prosperity, and Culture

Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain said that suggestions were gathered from every district and panchayat to prepare the Vision Document, with special support from NITI Aayog. The three key pillars of a developed Madhya Pradesh are Happiness, Prosperity, and Culture.

The state is emphasizing “Make in Madhya Pradesh” to promote employment and industry. Farmers are being connected with new technologies; 97% of farmers’ digital registries are complete – the highest in the country. Three AI cities will be developed in the state as part of expanding the service sector. Madhya Pradesh will be the first state in India where the entire government is accessible on one screen. From today, citizens can access 500 online government services through the MP e-Seva Portal, with 1,750 more services to be added soon.

The ceremony was attended by MSME Minister Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, Shri Pranav Adani Managing Director, Adani Group, Minister of State for Culture & Tourism Shri Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, Chairman of the Airports Authority of India Shri Vipin Kumar, industry leaders, and media representatives.
