Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar Inspects Ramkal Path and Other Development Works

Nashik, Nov 2025 : Maharashtra Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar conducted an inspection of various locations, including Ramkund, this evening. He also directed officials to expedite the ongoing development works in these areas.

Rajesh Kumar was in Nashik today to review the preparations for the 2027 Kumbh Mela scheduled to be held in Nashik-Trimbakeshwar. After a review meeting at the Divisional Commissioner’s office in the afternoon, he visited and inspected Dwarka area, Amrit Snan Parvani Road, Ramkund, Kalaram Temple, Sita Gufa, and the Smart City Control Room, among other sites.

Present on the occasion were Principal Secretary of the Rural Development Department, Eknath Davale; Principal Secretary of the Planning Department, Saurabh Vijay; Principal Secretary (Special), Home Department, Anup Kumar; Divisional Commissioner and Chairman of Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Development Authority, Dr. Praveen Gedam; Kumbh Mela Authority Commissioner, Shekhar Singh; Municipal Commissioner Manisha Khatri; District Collector Ayush Prasad; Zilla Parishad CEO Omkar Pawar; and Deputy Commissioner of Police Kiran Kumar Chavan.

Municipal Commissioner Manisha Khatri briefed the Chief Secretary about the ongoing development initiatives undertaken by the municipal corporation for the Kumbh Mela, including work on the Ramkal Path, installation of CCTV cameras, and upgrades to the control room.
