Last date for renewal of ration cards extended till August 15

The Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh has extended the deadline for renewal of ration cards prevalent under the Public Distribution System to August 15, 2024.

Out of a total of 81 thousand 835 ration cards in the district, 77 thousand 130 ration cards have already been renewed, while the renewal of 4 thousand 705 ration cards is still pending. The District Food Officer has appealed to the remaining 4 thousand 705 ration card holders to get their ration cards renewed by August 15 through their nearest government fair price shops.
