Puncture repairers now want to puncture development: Yogi Adityanath warns voters in Araria

Araria, Nov 2025 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Sunday, launched a fierce attack on the Congress, RJD, and Samajwadi Party while addressing a massive public meeting at Narpatganj High School Stadium—the last day of campaigning in Araria district. He said it was vital to stop those trying to bring back ‘Jungle Raj’ in Bihar.

“The same people who once made punctures now want to come here and puncture development,” Yogi thundered, warning that Narpatganj must not become a “launching pad for infiltrators.”

Recalling Bihar’s glorious legacy, the UP CM said the land that gave the world Nalanda University, Mother Janaki, Mahatma Buddha, Lord Mahavira, Aryabhatta, Chanakya, and Chandragupta Maurya had been pushed toward illiteracy and anarchy by the Congress-RJD alliance. “They divided society on caste lines, looted public wealth, and left Bihar’s youth unemployed. Because of them, Bihar became BIMARU—though this same land once gave India its golden age,” he said.

Yogi accused the opposition of fostering caste divisions and shielding mafias, claiming that in Uttar Pradesh,“ when the bulldozer rolls over the mafia, their bones are crushed.” He said that land seized from mafias in UP is now being used to build homes for the poor.

He credited the BJP-JD(U) government for reopening Bihar’s path to development, noting that those who once protected hereditary mafias now want to recreate past chaos. He said the Congress and RJD deprived the youth of opportunities and left farmers and common citizens struggling.

Highlighting eight and a half years of BJP rule in UP, Yogi said, “There is no curfew, no riots—everything is fine there,” calling it evidence of good governance under the NDA.

Praising Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he said Bihar has seen rapid progress since 2005, with roads, electricity, clean drinking water, and improved education and health facilities. “Under Modi Ji’s leadership, Bihar’s progress has accelerated over the past 11 years,” he added.

Citing the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Yogi said, “Only the NDA respects both faith and development.” He reminded people that Congress had filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court denying Lord Ram’s existence, RJD had halted the Rath Yatra, and the Samajwadi Party had opened fire on Ram devotees. “But today, Lord Shri Ram is enthroned in Ayodhya, and a magnificent temple stands there,” he said. Memorials for Maharshi Valmiki, Nishadraj, Mata Shabari, and Jatayu have also been built, he added, announcing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya on November 25.

Appealing for votes for NDA candidate Devanti Yadav from Narpatganj, Yogi said the Grand Alliance candidate’s deposit would be forfeited. “The first phase has already shown that the Grand Alliance will not return to power in Bihar. Now it’s time to make the lotus bloom in Narpatganj,” he declared.

On this occasion, MP Pradeep Kumar Singh, former Union Minister and Gujarat MP Devu Singh Chauhan, NDA candidate from Narpatganj Devanti Yadav, Assembly in-charge Rajesh Chandra Jha, Assembly coordinator Naveen Yadav, JDU district president Ashish Patel, state executive member Umanand Rai, district minister Alok Sah, district general secretary Rajendra Yadav, Akash Raj, Nageshwar Yadav, and LJP district president Arun Singh, among other dignitaries, were present.
