Competitions Held on Birth Anniversary of Birsa Munda

Jaipur, Nov 2025 : Under the leadership and guidance of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, various programmes and activities are being organized across the state on the occasion of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary, as part of Tribal Pride Year. Following the directions of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, speech, essay, and painting competitions based on the life of Birsa Munda were held on Sunday in TAD (Tribal Area Development) residential schools and hostel campuses.

Chief Executive Officer Pratibha Verma said that a series of diverse programmes under Tribal Pride Year has begun from 1 to 15 November 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. This initiative by the state government aims to spread awareness about the ideals, struggles, and contributions of Birsa Munda while also extending the benefits of government schemes to marginalized communities. Until 15 November, various awareness, cultural, and developmental activities will be organized under Tribal Pride Year.

CEO Pratibha Verma added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is turning development into a public participation movement. The series of activities launched on Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary is an inspiring initiative to honor the pride, self-respect, and cultural heritage of the tribal community.
