CM Yogi holds meeting with BJP officials and public representatives in Ambedkar Nagar
Ambedkar Nagar/ Lucknow : During a day-long visit to Ambedkar Nagar, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a strategic meeting with officials and public representatives of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In this gathering, CM Yogi shared his strategies for the upcoming assembly by-election, stating that this upcoming election is a contest between “the BJP’s development agenda and the opposition’s destructive propaganda.”
Addressing the attendees, CM Yogi highlighted the opposition’s tactics of dividing society along caste lines and spreading false rumors, similar to witnessed in the recent Lok Sabha elections. He said, “Opposition might use social media and other platforms to mislead the public during the by-election.”
To counter this, CM Yogi urged BJP officials and representatives to actively engage with the community and dispel the opposition’s misinformation from every platform. He said that the party officials and public representatives should go among the people and communicate with them.
During a meeting at the Circuit House, the Chief Minister concentrated on the upcoming Katehari assembly by-election. Emphasizing the importance of booth management, he said, “If we win the booth, we win the election.” He stressed the need to activate all booth committees and verify each booth to ensure efficient booth-level operations.
CM Yogi highlighted the crucial role of Panna Pramukhs in the election strategy, urging their prompt deployment as they are instrumental in bringing voters to the booths. He instructed officials to arrange comprehensive training for Panna Pramukhs and encouraged public representatives and party officials to engage directly with workers, motivating them to stay connected with beneficiaries of government schemes.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the government is running development schemes benefiting all sections of society and urged party workers to communicate these achievements to the public. He also pointed out that the Constitution has been safeguarded primarily under BJP governments, contrasting this with the dismissal of elected governments during Congress rule. He called on party workers to expose the opposition’s double standards to the public.
“Party workers should respond to the politics of misleading the opposition. For this, the officials will have to remain active. The opposition has deceived the public in the Lok Sabha elections,” he added.
The Chief Minister also heard the complaints of the public representatives and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers for its disposal.
