BLA Claims Multiple Attacks Across Balochistan, Pakistani Forces Report Casualties

Dec 2025 : The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks across several regions of Balochistan, including Mastung, Turbat, Kohlu and Chamalang. According to the outfit, these operations resulted in casualties among Pakistani army personnel and the seizure of weapons from private security staff linked to what the group described as “exploitative companies.”

In a statement issued by the BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the group said its fighters ambushed Pakistani army personnel on December 1 at Jalo Gandan in the Dasht region of Mastung. The soldiers were reportedly engaged in clearing a railway track when the assault occurred. The BLA claimed that two army personnel were killed instantly, while another sustained injuries and managed to flee.

Later the same day, BLA fighters reportedly targeted a Pakistani army checkpost near Park Hotel in Turbat city using a grenade, causing unspecified casualties and property damage, according to the statement.

The BLA further asserted that its members attacked a security camp operated by a private gas company in the Sinhari area of Kohlu. The group claimed to have detained private security personnel at the site and confiscated their weapons, while local company staff were released with a warning to cease cooperation with the firm.

A similar operation was claimed in Chamalang, where BLA fighters said they raided the security camp of a coal company at Triple Modh. The group reported detaining personnel and seizing weapons, again releasing local staff after issuing warnings.

The statement reiterated the BLA’s threat to individuals working with private companies in the region, cautioning them against providing security or support. “Those involved will bear full responsibility for the personal and financial consequences,” the group warned.

These latest claims follow a separate statement issued earlier this week, in which the BLA said it carried out 29 attacks between November 28 and 30, allegedly killing 27 Pakistani army personnel and injuring more than 17 across Balochistan.

Among those incidents, the group claimed to have used grenade launchers to strike a Coast Guard camp in the Pasni area of Gwadar. Additionally, the outfit said it targeted military intelligence personnel in Jiwani with a remote-controlled explosive device, asserting that three agents were killed and two others seriously injured while returning from what the BLA described as extortion activities.

Pakistani authorities have not issued an official confirmation of the casualty figures claimed by the outfit.
