Laxmi Rajwarde Inspects Paddy Procurement Centers in Bhatgaon Assembly

Raipur, Dec 2025 : Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwarde today visited the paddy procurement centers located in the villages of Salka and Banna in the Bhatgaon Assembly constituency. She conducted a detailed inspection of the procurement process, including the facilities provided to farmers, weighing machines, measurement instruments, and all procedures related to paddy acquisition.

During the visit, Minister Rajwarde interacted with the farmers present at the centers to understand their suggestions and requirements. Farmers expressed that the arrangements made by the government are functioning smoothly and that they are not facing any difficulties in selling their paddy. The minister also collected detailed feedback from the farmers regarding the support price, weighing speed, availability of sacks, and transportation arrangements.

Minister Rajwarde emphasized that the state government is committed to ensuring timely, transparent, and well-organized paddy procurement for farmers. Ensuring fair prices for farmers’ produce is the government’s top priority. She instructed officials to continuously monitor the CCTV cameras installed at the procurement centers and to take immediate action in case of any irregularities.

The inspection program was attended by local representatives, farmers, and a large number of villagers.
