- BJP government claims to give 2 lakh jobs, but has given only 20–25 thousand new jobs in 11 years: Anurag Dhandha
- Today, 3,000 teachers’ posts are vacant in various colleges and universities of Haryana: Anurag Dhandha
Chandigarh: December 2025 : AAP National Media In-charge Anurag Dhandha held a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club on Tuesday. During this, he said that the BJP government of Haryana has completely shut down the system of government jobs in the state. While the Punjab government has given government jobs to more than 60,000 youth since 2022 and not a single recruitment has been stuck in court nor has any paper leaked, the youth of Haryana have been pushed into darkness.
He said that the Haryana government claims to give around 2 lakh jobs, but in reality recruitment of only 1 lakh 20 thousand posts has been completed. Out of these, around 25,000 candidates moved to Group C from Group D, due to which these posts again became vacant. This proves that the government is presenting only showpiece numbers and actually has no intention of giving employment to youth. Apart from this, around 20 to 25 thousand posts of various departments are still stuck in court cases. In these eleven years, around 50,000 employees retired, but the graph of new jobs kept falling and in reality only 20–25 thousand youth got jobs.
Giving the recent recruitment of Assistant Professor English as an example, Anurag Dhandha said that there were to be 613 posts, but in the written exam only 151 youth were passed. Those same youth of Haryana who are NET–JRF toppers, gold medalists and working in prestigious institutions across the country — HPSC did not give them even 35% marks in the state exam. This raises serious questions on the exam system and the intention of the government. More than three thousand posts are lying vacant in colleges and universities, but the government issues recruitment after long delays, and then leaves more than half the posts vacant.
He said that the government in Haryana has created such a maze in recruitments that qualified youth cannot even understand whether they will get the job even after passing the exam. In many major recruitments, the government intentionally leaves loopholes so that they get stuck in court and appointments do not happen for months–years. This is injustice with the youth of the entire state. The concerning thing is that the government is now allowing people from other states to apply without domicile and is removing Haryana GK from exams, which clearly shows that Haryana’s youth are being pushed back to benefit outsiders.
Anurag Dhandha said that the BJP government is hiding the data of CET Group C qualifying candidates because once the truth comes out, their “job theft” will be exposed. Challenging the government, he said, if the BJP government is honest, then tell how many candidates have passed the CET Group C mains exam. Why is the government not telling this? Because the intention of the BJP government is corrupt.
He warned Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh that the youth of Haryana will now stand up for their rights and will give a strong answer to this corrupt employment system.
