Gayatri Mantra Energizes and Enriches Human Life: CM Vishnudev Sai

Raipur, Dec 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai participated in the grand 251-Kund Gayatri Mahayagya held in Hasaud village, Sakti district. The CM described the event as a magnificent confluence of spiritual unity, social harmony, and cultural pride. He said, “This Mahayagya, performed simultaneously in 251 kunds on the sacred land of Maa Mahamaya in Hasaud, elevates Chhattisgarh’s spiritual tradition to new heights.”

CM Sai highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Sanatan culture has gained global recognition. He noted, “After 500 years, the grand Shri Ram temple was constructed in Ayodhya, and Kashi Vishwanath Dham has been revitalized. Chhattisgarh itself is the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram, the sacred land of Mata Kaushalya.” He also mentioned that the state government is implementing numerous welfare schemes for the upliftment and welfare of all sections. Through the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, over 38,000 devotees have visited Ayodhya to have darshan of Shri Ram Lalla.

The Chief Minister explained that the 24 letters of the Gayatri Mantra symbolize 24 siddhis and powers, which provide energy, virtue, and spiritual strength to human life. During the program, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti University, Shantikunj, Haridwar, honored the CM with a commemorative citation.

The event was attended by Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Sahib, several other public representatives, members of the All World Gayatri Pariwar from across India, and a large number of devotees.

Blessings to Newlywed Couples – Incentives under Kanya Vivah Yojana
CM Sai blessed 140 newly married couples during the Hasaud event under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana, providing them with encouragement funds.

Prayers for Prosperity at Jaitkham
During his visit, the CM also reached Jaitkham to perform rituals and offered prayers for the happiness, prosperity, peace, welfare, and continuous progress of the people of Chhattisgarh.

CM Sai emphasized the teachings of Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji—truth, non-violence, equality, social harmony, and “Mankhe-Mankhe Ek Samaan” (all humans are equal)—as guiding principles for promoting harmony and unity in society. He urged the public to embrace these ideals and actively contribute to building a developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh.
