Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Presents ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ Vision Document to Sonia Gandhi

Hyderabad, Dec 2025 : Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi in Delhi on Tuesday and presented her with the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document, outlining the state’s ambitious long-term development roadmap.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed Sonia Gandhi about the Telangana Rising Global Summit-2025, held on December 8 and 9 at the upcoming Bharat Future City. He highlighted the welfare schemes implemented by the Congress government over the past two years, ongoing development initiatives, and future plans aimed at transforming Telangana’s economy and infrastructure.

Sonia Gandhi appreciated the state government’s performance and lauded Revanth Reddy’s vision for Telangana’s growth. She wished him success and expressed hope that the Chief Minister would lead the state along the path outlined in the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document.

The document, unveiled at the concluding session of the Summit, sets an ambitious goal of transforming Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047, with an interim target of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2034. It provides a detailed roadmap with strategies to achieve these goals, focusing on dividing the state into three sector-specific zones: CURE (Core Urban Region Economy), PURE (Peri Urban Region Economy), and RARE (Rural Agri Region Economy).

This three-pronged approach aims to ensure balanced development across urban, peri-urban, and rural-agriculture sectors. By leveraging Telangana’s human and natural resources, entrepreneurial talent, and technological capabilities, the strategy seeks to unlock the state’s full economic potential.

In her message on December 5, Sonia Gandhi had congratulated Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for organising the Telangana Rising Global Summit and expressed her support for the state’s long-term economic vision. She noted that the Summit marked a significant step toward making Telangana a trillion-dollar economy by 2034.

“The three-pronged strategy being adopted in the state aims at a 360-degree approach, ensuring equal emphasis on urban, peri-urban, and rural-agro development projects. This will enable Telangana’s extraordinarily rich human and natural resources, the entrepreneurial brilliance of its people, and its renowned knowledge and technological prowess to flower to its full potential,” her message read.

The meeting and the presentation of the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document underscore the state government’s commitment to inclusive, balanced, and sustainable development, while also seeking national-level support and guidance for achieving its long-term economic and social objectives.
