Jabil Multinational Company Introduces Advanced Electronics Training at ITIs, Giving Students Global-Standard Skills

Mumbai, December 2025: The US-based multinational company Jabil has taken the initiative to provide advanced electronics training in select ITIs across Maharashtra. A delegation from Jabil met with Skill Development Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha at his office and announced plans to set up state-of-the-art laboratories for electronics courses in these ITI institutes. Minister Lodha assured full support from the government to help secure a bright future for Maharashtra’s youth.

Minister Lodha explained that under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Skill Development Department is implementing various initiatives to motivate youth toward employment and self-employment. He emphasized that this program aims to provide ITI students with access to cutting-edge global technologies.

During discussions with Jabil Managing Director B.N. Shukla and Head of Human Resources Gundurao Patil, key points included setting up modern labs for electronics courses in selected ITIs, training instructors, providing industry-ready skill development to students, and creating equivalent employment opportunities.

The Maharashtra Skill Development Department will provide all necessary support to Jabil for this initiative. The department will also work to increase participation from other companies to offer widespread employment-oriented training across the state. This initiative will provide ITI trainees with advanced technology-based training, which is expected to have long-term benefits.

Madhavi Sardeshmukh, Director of the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, briefed the Jabil delegation on the various courses currently offered at ITIs.
