A New Industrial Park to Be Built on 100 Acres of Land for Industrial Development in Satna: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is making its mark globally in sectors such as space, industry, and defense. The state government is also working with strong determination to promote industry and trade in the state. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah has appreciated the decision to organize regional-level Industry Conclaves in Madhya Pradesh. These conclaves will now also be organized at the district level.
Earlier, a Regional Industry Conclave focused on the mining sector was held in Katni, and now a Regional Industry Conclave based on the MSME sector will be organized in Satna. The state government stands firmly with entrepreneurs at every step to ensure that Madhya Pradesh becomes fully equipped with infrastructure, leads the race of development, and provides employment opportunities to the youth. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Vindhya Trade Fair in Satna on Saturday.
The Chief Minister said that Satna is a major center of trade and commerce in the Vindhya region. He congratulated the residents of Satna for the successful organization of the Vindhya Trade Fair. He announced that a new industrial park would be developed on 100 acres of land for industrial development in Satna. He also announced the allotment of 8 acres of land to the Vindhya Chamber of Commerce for organizing the Vindhya Trade Fair and the construction of a Geeta Bhavan in Satna under PPP mode for commercial activities and cultural conferences.
Dr. Yadav stated that during the two-year tenure of the state government, air connectivity in the Vindhya region has been enhanced. The airstrip of Satna airport is being extended to 1,800 meters, enabling larger jet aircraft to land. With Chitrakoot Dham and the Sharada Mata Temple, the Satna region is also important for religious tourism. To promote religious tourism, helicopter services have been started. PM Shri Air Ambulance services have been arranged for assistance during emergencies. In the new year, citizens of the state will also receive the gift of government bus services.
He further said that the government has launched the “Rahveer Yojana” to assist victims of road accidents. Anyone who helps by taking an injured person to the hospital will receive an incentive of ₹25,000 from the government.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has set a target to nearly double the state budget to approximately ₹7 lakh crore over the next five years. Employment opportunities are being provided to youth, and they are also being encouraged toward self-employment. The state government has made provisions for a 30% subsidy in the hotel industry. Industries that generate employment are being given assistance of ₹5,000 per worker toward wages. In the state, 3.2 million farmers are being provided solar pumps at a 90% subsidy. Farmers are being freed from electricity bills and temporary connections. On a pump costing ₹60,000, farmers are receiving a subsidy of ₹53,000. Overall, the state government is providing subsidies amounting to ₹30,000 crore.
Satna Member of Parliament Shri Ganesh Singh said that Satna is the leading district in GST collection in the Vindhya region. During the tenure of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, investments exceeding ₹30 lakh crore have come into Madhya Pradesh. There is a need to organize a Regional Industry Conclave for the MSME sector to promote employment and business activities in Satna. He also noted that Satna is a major center for automobile sales.
President of the Vindhya Chamber of Commerce, Shri Satish Sukheja, said that Satna is the industrial and sacred city of the Vindhya region. The Vindhya Trade Fair has been organized every two years since the year 2000, and this is its 12th edition. More than 250 stalls from around 8 states have been set up, featuring ready-made garments, electronics, coarse grains, and food stalls. He emphasized the need for permanent land for organizing the Vindhya Trade Fair and the formation of a Trade Promotion Board in the interest of traders. He also suggested establishing a Global Skill Development Park in Satna on the lines of Bhopal, to provide youth with skill development along with employment and self-employment opportunities.

Pratima Bagri, MLA Shri Surendra Singh Geharwar, Mayor of Satna Shri Yogesh Tamrakar, Chamber General Secretary Shri Sandeep Jain, Shri Manohar Agrawal, Fair Convener Shri Umesh and Hariom, along with a large number of traders.
