“Complete Central Park works at a fast pace” – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar

Deputy Chief Minister inspects development works in the city

Baramati, Dec 2025 : Deputy Chief Minister and District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar instructed officials to complete the construction of the newly developing Central Park adjacent to the administrative building with quality, durability and speed, stating that the project would add to the city’s grandeur.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawar inspected various development works, including beautification of the Indapur Road and bus stand area, beautification of the ring road in front of Central Park, installation of statues of great personalities, the swimming pool, and the four-lane road from Gautam Baug to Fadtare Vasti. He also reviewed the progress of these projects and sought detailed information from the concerned officials.

Ajit Pawar directed that the beautification works of the ring road outside Central Park should be completed expeditiously. He instructed that the height of the protective wall between the administrative building and Central Park be increased, and that measures be taken to ensure there is no waterlogging on the inner side of the footpath.

Work is underway to install statues of great personalities at the site in front of Central Park. The Deputy Chief Minister directed that an attractive wall be constructed behind the statues and that the height of the statues be planned in such a way that people do not face difficulty while offering garlands.

To avoid traffic congestion in the bus stand area, he instructed officials to consider providing alternative parking spaces for autorickshaws, four-wheelers and two-wheelers. Considering the movement of heavy and oversized vehicles on Indapur Road, he directed the municipal council and police administration to take necessary measures to prevent traffic jams. He also instructed that Indapur Road be beautified and that the four-lane road work from Gautam Baug to Fadtare Vasti be completed at the earliest.

Regarding the swimming pool being constructed in the canal area, Ajit Pawar directed that high-quality materials be used. He emphasised maintaining cleanliness in the canal area and ensuring uniform signage on the front of shops. He also instructed officials to undertake extensive tree plantation in the city and to complete all pending works within the stipulated time.

On the occasion, Municipal Council President Sachin Satav, Additional Superintendent of Police Ganesh Biradar, Sub-Divisional Officer Vaibhav Navadkar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dr. Sudarshan Rathod, Superintending Engineer of the Public Works Department Bharatkumar Baviskar, Executive Engineer of the Water Resources Department Digambar Dubal, Tahsildar Swapnil Ravade, Block Development Officer Kishor Mane, Chief Officer Pankaj Bhuse, Deputy Engineer Subhash Patil and other officials were present.
