Deadline Extended for Submission of Applications for Clerk-Typist Recruitment in the Soldiers’ Welfare Department

Mumbai, January 2025 : The Soldiers’ Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra, Pune, has extended the deadline for submitting online applications for recruitment to the post of Clerk-Typist (Group-C) through direct service. The last date for submitting applications has now been extended till 11:59 pm on January 9, 2026, according to a press release issued by the District Soldiers’ Welfare Officer, Mumbai City.

The advertisement related to this recruitment was published on October 12, 2025, and a corrigendum was issued on December 7, 2025. A link for filling out the application form was made available on the department’s website. However, due to technical reasons, the Soldiers’ Welfare Department’s website has been inactive since December 26, 2025. As a result, interested candidates faced difficulties in accessing the web link, prompting the department to grant an extension.

According to information provided by the department, candidates should fill out the online application using the web link or QR code given below. The deadline for submitting applications has been extended till 11:59 pm on January 9, 2026.
