Deputy Chief Minister Performs Bhoomipujan of Sahakar Bhavan

Five-storey building to come up on the city’s main road

Beed, January 2026 : The bhoomipujan ceremony of the Sahakar Bhavan building, to be constructed along the city’s main road, was performed by the state’s Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of Beed, Shri Ajit Pawar. State Cooperation Minister Shri Babasaheb Patil was prominently present on the occasion.

The building will be constructed on Jalna Road, for which an amount of Rs 14 crore 98 lakh 79 thousand has been approved. The grand structure will consist of a ground floor for parking and four additional floors above it. The total built-up area of the building will be 2,305.19 square metres.

All offices related to the cooperative sector will be housed together in this building.

Those present at today’s bhoomipujan ceremony included Member of Parliament Shri Bajrang Sonawane, Legislative Council Member Shri Vikram Kale, MLAs Shri Vijaysingh Pandit and Shri Sandeep Kshirsagar, District Collector Shri Vivek Johnson, Superintendent of Police Shri Navneet Kawt, Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department Shri Atul Chavan, District Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies Shri Satish Totawar, Executive Engineer of the Construction Department Shri Ravindra Tonde, Special Audit Officer Shri Dhananjay Chavan, among others.
