Deputy CM Diya Kumari Inaugurates Kota Hadoti Travel Mart 2026

Jaipur, Jan 2026: Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari inaugurated the ‘B2B’ exhibition on the second day of the three-day Kota Hadoti Travel Mart 2026 at City Hill Art in Kota. She also visited the various exhibition stalls, which featured representatives from 26 states, including travel agents, tour operators, and the hotel industry.

Speaking to the media, Diya Kumari highlighted that the Rajasthan government aims to promote tourism beyond the state’s major cities, such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur, by organizing travel marts and related initiatives in other districts. She emphasized that many lesser-known destinations across the state have immense tourism potential and that efforts are underway to include Kota Hadoti in the global tourism calendar.

The Deputy CM outlined the key attractions of Kota Hadoti, including wildlife, the Chambal riverfront, forts, palaces, miniature paintings, folk art, and crafts. She said the region’s historical, heritage, religious, rural, and natural sites offer vast opportunities for tourism development.

She described the Travel Mart not merely as a business event but as a platform to showcase Hadoti’s cultural identity, natural beauty, and tourism potential, which will also help create investment, employment, and local development opportunities. With the launch of the new airport and improved road connectivity, Kota is poised to emerge as a global tourist destination.

During the event, Diya Kumari visited the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan’s stall, met its officials, and received a ceremonial bouquet. She also unveiled the Federation’s Kota division souvenir. Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riyer noted that the mart is intended to decentralize tourism promotion and present Hadoti’s potential on a shared platform, allowing tour operators to integrate the region into their travel packages.

The event included B2B meetings and exhibitions, where domestic and international tour operators, travel agents, hotel and travel industry representatives, and local entrepreneurs interacted. Participants showcased products and services across tourism, hotel, travel, and hospitality sectors, fostering networking and investment opportunities in Hadoti.
