Kondagaon: Gave a message of goodwill by running in the Independence Run
Like every year, this year too, the Independence Run was organized in Kondagaon District Headquarters a day before Independence Day. On this occasion, Collector Shri Kunal Dudawat flagged off the run and also participated in the Independence Run. During this, the participants ran from Vikas Nagar Stadium to Jai Stambh Chowk via Vikas Nagar Stadium and completed the run and also gave a message of goodwill to everyone. District Panchayat Chairman Devchand Matalam, Collector Shri Kunal Dudawat, SP Y Akshay Kumar, Nagar Palika Vice President Shri Jasketu Usendi, District Panchayat Chairman Shri Devchand Matalam along with public representatives, administrative officers and employees, a large number of school children and citizens participated in this run.
Addressing the program, Minister Nagar Palika Vice President Shri Jasketu Usendi congratulated everyone on the occasion of 77th Independence Day for organizing the Azadi Run and said that the objective of this goodwill run is that we all should maintain the integrity, unity, brotherhood and social harmony of the country. The great freedom fighters of our country have contributed a lot to the independence, reconstruction and development of the country. Now it is our responsibility that we all together take our country and state forward and move towards development. He took
an oath to respect the spirit of the brave sons of India and dedicate ourselves for the progress of the country.

An oath was taken to start the change from oneself.
In the race, first place was secured by Radha Sodhi Kopabeda in women’s category, second by Hembati Nag Girls Home, third by Lilavati Netam Malakot, first place was secured by Sanjay Korram Chilputi in men’s category, second by Durgesh Markam Kumhar Bargaon, third by Akash Mandavi Lanjoda, Santu Sahu was honoured in senior category, Mokshit Sahu in junior category and Gomti Nag in junior women’s category.
On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer of Zila Panchayat Mr. Avinash Bhoi, Additional Collector Mr. Chitrakant Chali Thakur, Joint Collector Mr. Ajay Oraon, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ms. Nikita Markam, Senior Sports Officer Ms. Sudha Kumar, District Education Officer Mr. Aditya Chandak, District Mission Coordinator of Samagra Shiksha Mr. Mahendra Pandey, Convenor of Ex-Servicemen Welfare Council Mr. Subrata Saha along with a large number of public representatives, officers, employees and citizens were present.
