Baikunthpur: Devotees visit Ayodhya: Collector Chandan Tripathi wishes for a safe journey

Today 108 devotees from the district left for Ayodhya Dham to have darshan of Shri Ram Lalla. Collector Mrs. Chandan Tripathi flagged off the bus from the Collectorate premises by presenting coconut and wishing them a successful journey. Councilor Mr. Anil Khatik, Additional Collector Mr. Arun Markam were also present on this occasion.

Devotees filled with religious fervour
were extremely excited to have darshan of Shri Ram Lalla. With the chanting of Jai Shri Ram, two buses left for Ambikapur railway station at around 9 am, from where they will reach Ayodhya Dham by special train.

Let us tell you that today was the third phase of the district under the Shri Ramlala Darshan (Ayodhya Dham) Yatra Yojana 2024 implemented by the Chhattisgarh State Government with the aim of providing facilities for Ayodhya Dham Yatra to the local residents. 55 men and 53 women from Baikunthpur and Sonhat development blocks are included in today’s Yatra. Before leaving, primary health check-up of all the devotees has been done and three escorts – Mrs. Usha Singh, Mr. Ravi Shankar Pandey and Mr. Jagannath Gupta are also included in this Yatra.

Appreciating the efforts of the government,
73-year-old Shri Ravishankar Dubey, a resident of Mandalpara of Baikunthpur development block, thanked the government and said that Vishnu government has made our dream come true. While expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Smt. Bimla Soni, a resident of Patna, said that the happiness of going to Ayodhya is difficult to express in words.

Feelings of devotees
64-year-old Shri Ahibharan, a resident of village Kailashpur in Sonhat development block, said that he had never thought that he would be able to visit Ayodhya. He thanked Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai for implementing the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana.

A large number of family members of the passengers and officers and employees of various departments were present during the flagging off of the bus. Everyone wished the devotees a pleasant journey.
