Drone Survey Exposes Irregularities in Stone Crusher Stocks in Jaipur District

Jaipur, January 2026 :A major irregularity has been uncovered in the drone survey of masonry stone stocks at stone crusher units operating in the Bassi tehsil area of Jaipur district, including Hardi, Hardyanpura, Ghata, Kuthada, and Bainada. The survey revealed a significant discrepancy between the stock recorded during the drone survey and the actual stock available on the ground.

Mining Engineer Shri Shyam Chaudhary stated that, following the directions of Jaipur District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, action has been taken against 12 stone crusher unit operators after the drone survey and subsequent verification. A penalty amounting to Rs 80.36 lakh has been imposed on these units, and the recovery process has been initiated.

According to the Mining Department, this action has been carried out under the state government’s zero-tolerance policy against illegal mining and irregular storage of minerals. The department has stated that continuous monitoring and strict enforcement will continue in the future through the use of modern technologies, particularly drone surveys.
