CM Sharma Engages with Banswara Youth, Announces Employment Opportunities and Recruitment Calendar
Jaipur, January 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma interacted with youth from Banswara district, emphasizing that the true strength of Vagad’s land lies in its young population. He highlighted the government’s focus on providing both employment and self-employment opportunities, alongside steps for the district’s overall development.
Sharma noted that over the past five years, the government aimed to provide 400,000 government jobs and 600,000 private-sector opportunities, with more than 100,000 appointments already completed. He emphasized that no paper leak has occurred in the last two years and that the government now releases a recruitment calendar annually, with this year covering 100,000 government posts. Nearly 200,000 youth have received internships, and over 400,000 youth have benefitted from the Chief Minister Yuva Sambal Scheme, receiving a total of ₹1,150 crore in stipends.
He also highlighted the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, whose MOUs totaling ₹8 lakh crore are generating employment opportunities for youth. A new youth policy has been introduced to promote entrepreneurship, startups, and advancement in multiple sectors. Development of industrial areas in Banswara is also ongoing, alongside improvements in infrastructure, electricity, and water supply, with plans to provide farmers with daytime electricity by 2027.
Sharma stated that efforts are underway to develop Banswara and Dungarpur as major tourism hubs, encouraging youth innovation. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to mainstream marginalized communities and pledged continued work toward a developed Rajasthan under the dual-engine government. He urged youth to embrace innovation and strengthen social unity to make Banswara a model district.
During the interaction, youth expressed gratitude for measures to curb paper leaks, the completion of over 100,000 appointments, and the release of the 2026 recruitment calendar. They also shared suggestions on education, agriculture, cooperatives, infrastructure, religious tourism, industry, and tribal welfare. The Chief Minister reviewed a PPT on beautification plans for Beneshwar Dham and surrounding areas.
The event was attended by former MP Dhan Singh Rawat, Man Shankar Ninama, and a large number of youth from Banswara.
