Jaipur, January 2026 : On Saturday, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma participated in the Ram Katha and Cow Festival held in Gundi village, Ramganj Mandi area of Kota district. The event was conducted under the guidance of Peethadhishwar Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that Ram Katha is not merely a story but a school for living life. It teaches the virtues of a son’s duty, a brother’s love, a husband’s devotion, and a king’s responsibility. He added that by imbibing Shri Ram’s ideals in our lives, we can realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Ram Rajya.
The Chief Minister emphasized that our Sanatan (ancient) culture reveres rivers, mountains, trees, and the sacred cow (Gau Mata). He said that everyone is fortunate to have the opportunity to listen to the divine Ram Katha. He praised Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, noting that through his simple yet powerful speech, he has lit the lamp of dharma in the lives of millions, bringing the essence of Sanatan Dharma directly to people’s hearts. Shastri’s style is so accessible that it resonates deeply with common people, and he is introducing the younger generation to the greatness of Sanatan Dharma.
During the event, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri welcomed the Chief Minister by draping a ceremonial dupatta. The program was also attended by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, School Education Minister Madan Dilawar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Energy Hiralal Nagar, MLA Kalpana Devi, and several saints, mahants, and devotees.
