New Delhi, Aug 2026 : A 21-year-old student and model was allegedly stabbed to death inside her residence in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar, with police suspecting the involvement of a gym trainer known to her.
The deceased, identified as Muskan, was reportedly alone at her second-floor home when the incident took place on Wednesday. The accused has been identified as Imran, who allegedly entered the house, attacked her with a knife and fled from the spot.
Neighbours reportedly heard Muskan screaming for help and rushed to the residence. They found her critically injured and lying in a pool of blood. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Gupta said police teams were working to trace the accused and examining CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to establish the sequence of events.
“We are searching for the culprit,” Gupta told reporters, adding that investigators were collecting evidence and checking surveillance footage as part of the probe.
Muskan’s friend Aman said she was the youngest of three sisters. He said one of her elder sisters, who is currently in Chandigarh, contacted him after learning about the attack and asked him to rush to Muskan’s residence.
“I received a call, but I don’t remember the exact time. They told me they were not at home and that someone had entered the house and stabbed Muskan,” the friend said.
According to Aman, the suspected attacker, Imran, worked as a trainer at the gym where Muskan regularly exercised. He said he immediately contacted another friend and asked him to reach the residence and make sure that Muskan received medical attention.
By the time Aman reached the location, an ambulance had already arrived and Muskan had been taken to hospital for treatment.
Aman further alleged that Muskan’s sisters had earlier expressed concerns about Imran’s behaviour towards her and claimed that he had allegedly harassed her in the past.
“He had troubled her earlier as well, and after this incident, suspicion immediately fell on him,” Aman said.
Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged killing. Teams are examining CCTV footage, gathering information from neighbours and acquaintances, and working to establish the accused’s whereabouts after the incident.
Investigators are also expected to examine the relationship between Muskan and the suspected accused and determine the motive behind the attack. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend Imran, while further details are awaited as the probe progresses.
