New Delhi, September 2026 : Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta on Monday launched the ‘Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal’ under the Seva Sankalp campaign. The portal is an integrated digital platform designed to strengthen the Ease of Doing Business ecosystem in Delhi. It will give entrepreneurs, traders, MSMEs, startups, industrial units and investors easier access to various government services and approvals through a single digital interface. The initiative strengthens the government’s commitment to facilitating investment, ensuring transparent administration and making it easier to do business in Delhi. Industries Minister Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa and senior officials from the concerned departments were present on the occasion.
Over 100 services from 21 departments on one platform
The ‘Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal’ currently integrates more than 50 government services from 15 departments. The government aims to expand this to more than 100 services across 21 departments. This is expected to make access to government services easier and more convenient for over 8 lakh traders in Delhi, including MSMEs. The portal has also been integrated with the National Single Window System (NSWS), allowing investors and businesses to access approvals at both the central and state levels through an integrated digital platform. This will help make the approval process faster and more transparent.
From applications to status tracking on one platform
The ‘Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal’ will allow applicants to identify the approvals they need, submit applications, track their status and communicate with different departments through a single digital interface. The portal includes several important digital features. With Single Sign-On (SSO), users will be able to access services of different departments through a single login. The Common Application Form (CAF) will reduce the need for applicants to repeatedly submit the same basic information.
The ‘Know Your Approvals’ (KYA) feature will help entrepreneurs identify the approvals required for their proposed business. Through the applicant dashboard, users will be able to view the status of their applications in one place, while the departmental dashboard will help concerned departments monitor applications and service delivery. The guidance module will also provide FAQs, manuals and guidance related to services, helping entrepreneurs understand the required process before submitting an application.
Creating a business-friendly environment
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that in line with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s ‘Make in India’ vision, the Delhi government is working to create a business environment in the capital where entrepreneurs and investors do not have to deal with unnecessary procedural complexities and can instead focus more on expanding their businesses, driving innovation and creating jobs. Ease of Doing Business, she said, is not limited to putting processes online; it is about creating a system based on trust, transparency and convenience between the government and the business community. The ‘Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal’ is an important reform in this direction.
She said the Delhi government would continue to add more services to the portal, simplify processes and strengthen digital transformation. The government’s aim is to create a business and investment environment in Delhi that encourages entrepreneurship, facilitates investment and gives a boost to job creation. The government will further expand the ‘Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal’ through service integration, process simplification and digital transformation.
Making approvals easier for businesses
Delhi Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the ‘Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal’ is an important step towards making it easier to do business in Delhi. The portal provides entrepreneurs with a single-window facility for licences, No Objection Certificates and other business-related services through a single ID. So far, 15 departments and boards have been integrated with the portal, with more than 50 services available. The target is to bring more than 100 services across 21 departments onto the portal by next month.
The Industries Minister said the portal will guide entrepreneurs on the approvals required to start a business, facilitate applications, allow them to track the status of their applications and provide a platform for grievance redressal. The objective is to ensure that entrepreneurs can focus on setting up and expanding their businesses instead of spending time dealing with the complexities of obtaining necessary approvals. More industry and logistics-related services will be added to the portal in the coming days, helping create an integrated system for businesses in Delhi.
