Boxer Kapil Pokhariya, Who Won Bronze at Asian Games, Meets Chief Minister Dhami
International boxer and talented Uttarakhand sportsperson Kapil Pokhariya met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday at the Chief Minister’s private residence in Nagla Tarai, Khatima.
Kapil Pokhariya represented India in the men’s 90 kg boxing event at the Asian Games–2026 held in Japan and delivered an impressive performance to win the bronze medal.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated and extended his best wishes to Kapil Pokhariya for the achievement. He said that Kapil’s success has made not only Uttarakhand but the entire country proud.
The Chief Minister said that the achievements being secured by the youth of the state at national and international platforms are an inspiration for the new generation.
Wishing Kapil a bright future, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that he would continue to bring glory to the country and Uttarakhand at the international level through his talent and hard work.
