Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Sant Shri Nijanand Dham Ashram located at Chirola Fanta village in Khachrod on Friday on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. At the ashram, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed worship and offered floral tribute to Shri Shri 1008 Sachidanand Maharaj on his death anniversary.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Rudrabhishek and Shodashopachar Puja at Shiva temple located in the ashram. He also performed worship and Aarti at gaddi of Sant Shri Nijanandji Maharaj. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid respects to saints present at the ashram and received their blessings. He also accepted Prasadi at the ashram. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed and felicitated by Shri Nijanand Dham Seva Samiti. He also met Shri Vivek Maharajji, disciple of Sachidanandji Maharaj, at the ashram.
While extending Raksha Bandhan greetings to people of the state, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he visited Sant Shri Nijanand Ashram for Darshan and worship. He said this place introduces people to the divine aura of great personalities of Sanatan culture in country, state and Malwa. He said all of us also receive inspiration for good deeds from blessings of such saints.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after Shri Nijanandji Maharaj, his successor Swami Sachidanandji Maharaj gave this place new consciousness and awakened the entire region. He said all of us, along with our work, should carry forward basic spirit of our saints, the welfare-oriented thought expressed in the Vedic saying, “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah”, which means may everyone be happy and may everyone be free from illness. He said we should hold this Vedic thought with its timeless significance and pray for welfare of everyone.
MLA from Nagda-Khachrod area Dr. Tej Bahadur Singh Chauhan, Shri Rajesh Dhakad, Ujjain Development Authority Chairman Shri Ravi Solanki, Shri Naresh Sharma, along with local public representatives and officials, were also present at ashram.
Sisters Tie Raksha Sutras in Khachrod
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav arrived at Khachrod helipad on Friday to attend a religious programme. At the helipad, Nagda resident Smt. Maya Titliya and Manisha Akhilesh Sharma tied Rakhi to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on occasion of Raksha Bandhan and extended their greetings. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav warmly offered sweets to sisters and extended his greetings.
