Madhya Pradesh Investment Drive Gains Momentum: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the investment drive in Madhya Pradesh continues to gain momentum. In July, the foundation stones were laid for the manufacturing plant of Aditya Techno Company and Leon India. Similarly, two new industries with a combined investment of ₹850 crore were inaugurated in Pithampur. These industries have relocated from Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh to commence operations. He said that investment proposals worth around ₹5,000 crore were received at the roadshow held in Delhi for the Telecom Manufacturing Zone in Gwalior, while proposals worth ₹8,635 crore were received at the roadshow in Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the Cabinet ahead of the meeting. He also extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Madhya Pradesh Youth Making Their Mark in Space Technology

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is encouraging startups across all sectors. In space technology, Shri Vaibhav Jain of Vidisha has also received an opportunity to launch a satellite. A young talent from Madhya Pradesh has created history through his startup. Shri Jain’s startup company, Vyomik, is also preparing to launch a satellite into space. The Chief Minister congratulated Shri Jain and wished him a bright future.

Action Plan to Improve Drainage before Next Monsoon

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the monsoon is now in its final phase. During his recent visit to Rewa, he reviewed the damage caused by floods and excessive rainfall in Jabalpur and Shahdol. He said excessive rainfall often causes drains to overflow in several urban local bodies and panchayat areas, resulting in waterlogging in streets and houses. The Chief Minister directed officials to review drainage arrangements and prepare an action plan after the rainy season to ensure the uninterrupted flow of drains and its effective implementation.

Five-Category Skill Development Plan for Youth

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, referring to the latest NITI Aayog report, that youth have been categorised into five groups for skill development. These include school students, college students, workers in the organised and unorganised sectors, and youth deprived of opportunities in education, employment and self-employment. He said many such young people migrate from rural areas to cities to pursue ITI or other employment-oriented training but are unable to complete it due to financial constraints or other reasons. NITI Aayog has recommended that the Higher Education Department and Youth Welfare Department prepare an action plan and undertake concrete measures for such youth.

Special Drive for Farmer IDs Underway

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said a special drive to create Farmer IDs for farmers across the state has been underway since August 20. The ID will help farmers access various benefits, including the distribution of fertilisers and seeds. He urged all public representatives to encourage farmers to obtain their Farmer IDs.

CM Jan Vishwas Campaign to Continue

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Abhiyan has been underway continuously for the past three weeks and has yielded encouraging results. If Friday is declared a holiday due to a special occasion or festival, the Jan Vishwas camp should be held on Saturday instead. He directed all district collectors to provide advance information regarding the Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Abhiyan camps so that citizens, employees and public representatives have sufficient time to prepare.

Two-Day Chintan Shivir to Review Key Achievements

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed all ministers to organise a two-day Chintan Shivir in September to hold detailed discussions with departmental officials on major works and schemes implemented during the past two-and-a-half years.
