Ahmedabad/Surat, Aug 2026 : Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat State Organization General Secretary Manoj Sorathiya, while attacking the police administration and the government over a serious issue, stated that, on one hand, the people of Gujarat are suffering immensely due to the sale and consumption of liquor and people are dying. You make tall claims that, “The PI and PSI of the area from where liquor is seized will be suspended.” By merely making statements, you have been exposed before the people. Today, the Aam Aadmi Party team conducted a raid on a liquor den in the Varachha area and called the police. Despite this, the police have not taken action, and now we want to see how many police personnel of Varachha Police Station Harsh Sanghavi suspends?
Aam Aadmi Party leader Manoj Sorathiya further stated that, piles of hotfix waste have accumulated on Varachha Road, due to which people are suffering immensely. When Aam Aadmi Party workers picked up this waste and took it to the Mayor’s house, the Singham police personnel are detaining Aam Aadmi Party workers, filing charges against them and sending them to jail. In Gujarat, raising one’s voice for the resolution of people’s problems has become a crime, and democracy has died in Gujarat because such people are sitting in power. These people are afraid that if someone raises their voice, something of theirs will be looted, and that is why these people are taking action against the Aam Aadmi Party. Aam Aadmi Party is not afraid of the BJP’s police or any section of law. You are filing charges against Aam Aadmi Party workers, but now we have to see when Harsh Sanghavi takes action against the staff of Varachha Police Station? We are conducting raids on liquor dens and showing that liquor is being sold in this area. Liquor is being sold openly and women and girls are not safe due to the harassment caused by these drunkards. At such a time, instead of taking action against drunkards, bootleggers and police personnel, you are taking action against Aam Aadmi Party workers. People are watching and the pot of your sins is filling up. The people of Gujarat will punish you.
