President of India to confer the awards along with National Sports Awards 2025
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, has announced the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards (TNNAA) for the year 2024. The awards cover four categories —Land Adventure, Water Adventure, Air Adventure and Lifetime Achievement.
The awards recognise outstanding achievements by individuals in the field of adventure and seek to promote a spirit of endurance, risk-taking, teamwork and quick and effective decision-making in challenging situations. The Government has approved the following awardees for TNNAA 2024:

The awardees will be conferred the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awards by the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, along with the National Sports Awards 2025. The date of the award ceremony will be announced separately. Each awardee will receive a statuette, a certificate and award money of Rs. 15 lakh. The selections were made following the recommendations of theNational Selection Committee. The Committee evaluated the nominations and, following due scrutiny, recommended the awardees for conferment of the national honour.
The awards seek to promote among the youth a spirit ofcourage, endurance, discipline, risk-taking and cooperative teamwork, while encouraging the ability to respond with speed and effectiveness in challenging situations. They also provide an impetus to wider participation in adventure activities across the country. The awards underscore the Government’s commitment to promoting adventure activities and nurturing a culture ofcourage, resilience and excellenceamong the youth.
