MP has become Country’s Food Basket: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Agriculture Department has set an example in farmers’ welfare and empowerment, while the dedication of its officers and employees has helped Madhya Pradesh emerge as the country’s food basket. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, “Agriculture in Madhya Pradesh is not merely the name of a department; it is also the name of development. The state’s prosperity is rooted in agriculture, and its path to development runs through the Agriculture Department”.  He said that the department has played a significant role in transforming Madhya Pradesh and overcoming the tag of a BIMARU state. Its officers and employees ensure that government agricultural schemes and policies move beyond files and reach farmers in the fields.

Officers, employees and representatives of employee organisations welcomed him with floral garlands and presented him with a traditional plough.
