Rajasthan High Court Chief Justice and Patron-in-Chief of the RSLSA, Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal, said Lok Adalats were not merely a means of resolving disputes but also a meaningful and compassionate initiative to make justice accessible to the common people.
He said the objective was to provide relief, satisfaction and confidence to every individual seeking justice. Justice Agrawal urged legal services institutions and advocates to view Lok Adalats not simply as formal events but as important opportunities to serve the public.
The National Lok Adalat was organised across Rajasthan, including at the principal seat of the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur and its Jaipur Bench. District courts, revenue courts, tribunals, commissions and consumer forums across the state also participated in the exercise.
Of the pending cases settled, 8,60,373 were resolved through district and revenue courts. At the Rajasthan High Court's principal seat in Jodhpur, 205 cases were settled through mutual agreement, while another 408 cases were resolved at the Jaipur Bench.

Under the guidance of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, legal services institutions across the state played an important role in facilitating negotiations between parties and resolving disputes through mutual consent.
Lok Adalats provide an alternative mechanism for settling eligible disputes without prolonged litigation. They help reduce the burden on courts while enabling parties to reach mutually acceptable settlements in an accessible and cost-effective manner.
The latest exercise highlights Rajasthan's continued efforts to expand access to justice and resolve pending disputes through alternative dispute resolution, offering litigants an opportunity to settle eligible cases through consensus.
