Khadi Exhibition Organized at Trimurti Precinct in Mantralaya
Mumbai : In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call through ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to increase the use of Khadi by purchasing Khadi cloth, the Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board has organized a Maha Khadi exhibition at the Trimurti Precinct in Mantralaya from 21st to 23rd August. This was announced by the Board’s Chief Executive Officer, R. Vimala.
Khadi producers, including Kasturba Mahila Khadi from Sevagram, Wardha, Amravati, Satyam Khadi from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Borivali, Bhayander, Palghar, Nagpur, and various other districts, will participate in this exhibition.
The Board Chairman, Ravindra Sathe, emphasized the importance of promoting Khadi among as many people as possible. He noted that this exhibition has been organized to make Khadi easily accessible to government employees at the Ministry.
Chairman Sathe also urged that officers and employees visit the exhibition and purchase Khadi cloth from 21st to 23rd August 2024.
