Major IPS Transfers in Uttar Pradesh: 9 District Police Chiefs Replaced
Uttar Pradesh: In a significant administrative reshuffle, 22 IPS officers have been transferred across Uttar Pradesh, including police captains from multiple districts. Bahraich’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Brinda Shukla has been reassigned as SP of the Women and Child Security Organization.
Additionally, Jaunpur’s SP, Dr. Ajay Pal, has been appointed as In-charge Additional Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj Commissionerate. While some officers have been assigned new postings, others have been moved to less prominent roles, and a few have returned from deputation.
This large-scale reshuffle is expected to bring new momentum and improvements to the region’s police administration. The move aims to strengthen law enforcement and enhance efficiency in critical areas.
