Coordination Meeting Soon on Renovation of Tuljapur Bhavani Mata Temple – Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar
Mumbai : A coordination meeting will soon be held with temple priests, the Tuljabhavani Temple Trust, and local MLAs before finalizing renovation work for the Bhavani Mata Temple in Tuljapur, based on the structural audit report, announced Cultural Affairs Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar. A meeting regarding this matter was held at the state ministry.
The Department of Cultural Affairs, through the Archaeology Department, has declared the temple as a state-protected monument. Minister Shelar stated that the structural audit report has been received, and further restoration work will be planned accordingly. The report will be submitted to the government.
Currently, two agencies are carrying out repair and maintenance work at the temple premises. Minister Shelar directed them to coordinate their efforts and ensure time-bound execution.
He further stated that a detailed work plan will be formulated after discussions with all relevant stakeholders.
