Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Offers Prayers at the Samadhi of Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj
Pune : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited the Samadhi Temple of Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj at Alandi today, where he offered prayers and performed a formal puja (ritual worship) at the sacred shrine.
Present on the occasion were Mahendra Mahajan, President of the Alandi Devasthan Trust and Principal District & Sessions Judge; Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar, Divisional Commissioner; Vinay Kumar Choubey, Police Commissioner; Yogesh Mhase, CEO of PARDA; Shekhar Singh, Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation; Jitendra Dudi, District Collector; Vasant Pardeshi, Joint Police Commissioner; and trustees Yogi Niranjannath, Adv. Rajendra Umap, Chaitanya Maharaj Kuber, Dr. Bhavarth Dekhne, Purushottam Patil, and Adv. Rohini Pawar, among other dignitaries.
During the visit, Chief Minister Fadnavis also performed a ritual worship of the idols of Lord Vitthal and Rukmini. As a mark of respect, the temple authorities honored the Chief Minister with a Tulsi mala (holy basil garland).
