24 Surrendered Naxalites Awarded Agricultural Entrepreneur Certificates
Administration Urges Integration into Mainstream Society
Raipur : As part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to restore peace and promote rehabilitation in Naxal-affected regions, 24 surrendered Naxalites were recently awarded Agricultural Entrepreneur Certificates in Sukma district. Under the guidance and direction of Collector Mr. Devesh Kumar Dhruv, the Indian State Bank and the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sukma, organized a 13-day training program for the surrendered individuals.

During the program, the participants received comprehensive training in agriculture-related sectors including vegetable nurseries, paddy cultivation, dairy farming, poultry, goat rearing, and fish farming. In addition, entrepreneurship development training was provided by faculty member Om Prakash Sahu, equipping the youth with essential business skills and knowledge.
After the training, all candidates underwent an assessment under the supervision of State Controller Mr. Arun Kumar Soni, and all were declared to have successfully passed. Certificates were awarded by the Collector, who wished them a bright future and encouraged them to actively integrate into mainstream society.
The certificate distribution ceremony was attended by officials and staff from Livelihood College, highlighting the administration’s commitment to supporting the transformation and rehabilitation of former insurgents.
