PM Modi Has Elevated Indias Global Prestige: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today is a proud moment for the nation, as Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has marked yet another historic milestone in service of the country by becoming the second longest-serving Prime Minister of India, surpassing former PM late Smt. Indira Gandhi, with 4,078 consecutive days in office.
Dr. Yadav emphasised that this is not merely a personal achievement, but a powerful reflection of India’s robust democratic traditions, long journey of development and unwavering public trust. He said under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India has witnessed remarkable transformation domestically and asserted a strong presence on global platforms.
Congratulating Prime Minister on behalf of the people of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Yadav wished him a long life and continued success in setting new milestones for the nation. He expressed joy over India’s fast-paced progress towards becoming a global leader under Modi’s capable and visionary leadership.
In a message to the media, Dr. Yadav applauded PM Modi for powerfully representing India on international forums and achieving historic milestones. He noted that Modi is the only Prime Minister post-independence to be continuously elected to the highest office by the people of India, a testament to the public’s faith and respect.
The Chief Minister noted that India’s economy ranked 15th globally at the time of independence and 11th when Modi took office. Within just 11 years, the nation has become the world’s 4th largest economy, and by the end of Modi’s term, is poised to become the 3rd largest. He also lauded Modi’s decisive leadership in matters of national security, noting India’s capability to act against its enemies both within and beyond its borders—an ability previously seen only in countries like Israel and the USA.
Dr. Yadav said PM Modi has revolutionised various sectors, especially through digital innovation. He highlighted India’s rise as a global leader in digital payments, with even small vendors like tea stalls and vegetable sellers accepting digital transactions—something rare even in many developed countries.
He praised the Modi government for its welfare programs, including free food grain distribution to over 80 crore citizens and health insurance up to ₹5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme for the underprivileged and senior citizens above 70 years.
On this occasion of completing 4,078 days in office, Dr. Yadav extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Modi and expressed hope that he would break even more records and return to lead the country once again in 2029. He called on everyone to collectively pray for PM Modi’s long life and for the continued good governance of India under his leadership.
